INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON MUSCLE WASTING

Molecular Mechanisms of muscle wasting during aging and disease

Congressi Stefano Franscini, Monte Verità, Ascona, Switzerland

11-16 September, 2022

This meeting will focus on the intersection between basic aging mechanisms and their effect on skeletal muscle disease - particular focus will include cachexia, frailty and sarcopenia. Molecular mechanisms discussed will include mTORC1 signaling, DNA damage & repair, aging-induced gene expression changes, etc. The meeting's interactive format and its small size makes it unique.

The next edition will take place on September 11-16, 2022 at the Conference Centre Monte Verità, Ascona, Switzerland, the venue of choice for Congressi Stefano Franscini, the international conference platform of ETH Zurich. The center is located on a beautiful hill on top of the lake town of Ascona, in Southern Switzerland.

The conference has a maximum capacity of 120 participants, pending changes in Covid-19 regulations, which will be posted here in due time.
